In a catwalk showcase, he made a private statement about the current state of the style industry, in which a ruinous speed and empty hypes are topical issues. RESOLVER For his presentation in February 2015, Montes developed an innovative, in water-soluble fabric constructed from polyvinyl alcohol in collaboration with the TextielMuseum Tilburg. Over the last yr, he developed this fabric into a fresh mixture of ebony and milky yarns, which starred in his fresh bevy RESOLVER. The unique material is the base for his strict silhouettes, constructed from circular and rectangular parts. During the flash of RESOLVER, Montes introduced his garbs on models that faced ginormous amounts of water on the catwalk. The originally silver garbs dissolved leisurely from the models’ bods, unveiling the ebony weft yarns as web like textures. The clothes were demolished and oftentimes fully disappeared. The transience of style – seized in a display. The poetic statement mixed innovation, spectacle and style into a well balanced entire. Jef Montes: “In times where style seems to revolve around quotes such as ‘Fashion is Dead’ (Li Edelkoort) and ‘Why style is crashing’ (Suzy Menkes), I think a bunch about my future as a designer. Resolver is Spanish for to solve, and stands for a fresh new begin. My label gives me the freedom to create my own aesthetic reality and rules – this season I wished to embark with a tidy slate by literally resolving apparels. Upon invitation by Francesca Carol Rolla, the spectacle troupe La Pocha Nostra (US/Mexico) and artist couple VestAndPage have chosen to merge their unique pedagogical experiences for a ten days joint immersive spectacle class as part of the ART WEEK | Workshop Series. &#34;On our world’s stage, where economic and social systems stir deeply into relations of the capital, La Pocha Nostra's and VestAndPage's generous theory and experience tension the complexity of being human – the delights and the anguishes. Before knowing you I was wondering what motivates artists to give, to share initiatory processes. LA POCHA NOSTRA La Pocha Nostra is an ever getting taller cross-disciplinary arts organization and non-profit based in San Francisco, California with branches in Central and South America, Europe, Asia and the South Pacific. La Pocha Nostra was founded in 1993 by Guillermo Gomez-Peña, Roberto Sifuentes, Michèle Ceballos Michot and Nola Mariano in Los Angeles. The aim was to formalise conceptually Gomez-Peña's collaborations with other spectacle artists. VestAndPage's art experience is contextual and situation-responsive, conceived psycho-geographically in reaction to social contexts, congenital vicinity, historical websites and architectures. It was a controversial arrangement of butter mass in his studio. After Beuys death, the &#34;Fettecke&#34; was eliminated in 1986 by the caretaker. A scandal that made this one of the most prominent works of the artist. Since then, the telling circulated on everyone's lips, whether secretly murmuring or as a direct reaction in the face of the ambiguity of a questionable chunk of art: &#34;Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg&#34; (&#34;Is this art or can I tidy up&#34;). With the well-known sentence on the nude bod &#34;Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg&#34; Milo Moiré visits the „Rundgang“ (trip) of the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf in 2019. In the so-called hallowed halls, the college girls introduce their work to the general public for 4 days. With the spectacle Milo Moiré embodies with self-irony the fundamental misunderstanding of the artist. Not answers but questions sharpen the fresh sight, so the artist. It honors all works of art that were not recognized as such, mocked, disapproved or even wrecked. Die Spectacle ist inspiriert von der Kunstinstallation &#34;Fettecke&#34; (1983) von Joseph Beuys im Raum trio der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Es handelte sich dabei um eine damals kontrovers diskutierte Anordnung aus Buttermasse in seinem Atelier. Nach Beuys Tod wurde die &#34;Fettecke&#34; im Jahre 1986 vom damaligen Hausmeister entfernt. Ein Skandal, der dieses Werk zu einer der bekanntesten Arbeiten des Künstlers machte. Seitdem kursiert der Spruch in aller Munde, ob heimlich flüsternd oder als direkte Entgegnung in Anbetracht der Ambiguität eines fragwürdigen Kunstwerkes: &#34;Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg&#34;. Mit dem berüchtigten Satz auf dem nackten Körper &#34;Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg&#34; besucht Milo Moiré den Rundgang 2019 der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In den so genannten heiligen Hallen präsentieren die Studenten während vier Tagen ihre Arbeiten der breiten Öffentlichkeit. Mit der Spectacle verkörpert Milo Moiré mit Selbstironie das grundlegende Missverständnis des Künstlers. Nicht Antworten sondern Fragen schärfen die Neubetrachtung, so die Künstlerin. Sie würdigt damit alle Kunstwerke die nicht als solche (an-)erkannt, verhöhnt, missbilligt oder gar zerstört wurden.</a>
